The Brief:
To design a logo for a new clothing brand that sources ethical and environmentally friendly outdoor garments.
The brand DFG is aimed at the outdoors pursuits market. It features rugged clothing that is ethically sourced. We ctraed the DFG logo, by taking inspiration from climbing equipment, and in particular, the caribiners used by climbers to clip onto their ropes.
The chunky, stylised vertical logotype, has an almost military and hard wearing look to it, that echoes the profile of a carribiner.
